We’ve been shaking, rattling and rolling in our boots for two years now in anticipation for the return of the iconic Queenscliff Blues Train, and we’re thrilled to say IT'S BACK BABY!
With the first shows jamming off in April, now is the time to get on the group chat, gather the gang and head down to Queenscliff for the most fun you can have on a train.
1. Where else can you see four intimate gigs in one night on a steam train?
There are four carriages on the Blues Train and each one features a different band. At each station stop, you’ll hop off the train and jump into another performance. We’ve all been missing live music, and this is the perfect unique setting to hear some seriously talented musicians getting back to doing what they love.
2. Did somebody say dinner and drinks?
When you arrive at the heritage-listed Queenscliff Train Station, you’ll have the chance to purchase drinks from the bar, you can stock up at each station stop so you stay nice and hydrated during each set.
Your ticket includes a hearty meal including smoky BBQ beef and creamy baked mustard chicken with an array of sides, served buffet style.
3. Make a weekend of it.
When visiting Queenscliff for your Blues Train experience, you won’t want to leave straight away. There’s heaps to discover and explore in and around Queenscliff, so make a weekend of it, the memories will be something you’ll talk about for years to come. Find out where to stay here.
4. You don’t have to be a lover of blues music to enjoy this experience…
You just have to be up for a good time.
